I'm wrapping my frog legs up in aluminum foil and putting them on the pit, along with 2 drunk chickens, sausage, rack of ribs and a large pot of jambalaya! Will be at the camp on the river with my projector screen set up, my beer on ice, bourbon in my glass and my family partying with me! CANT WAIT

Won't be at the river this weekend but will be by the pool with friends during the day with the Green Egg loaded up. Pecan smoked Boston Butt going on early, couple racks of baby backs, some leg quarters, boudin etc. Adjourning to the man cave for kickoff. Copious amounts of alcohol starting early between the margarita machine, Bud Light, Ultra, jello shots. This week is moving tooooo slooooow.

I'm supposed to go to Laplace for a family reunion. I know, who in the shite schedules a family reunion on opening weekend of college football? My yatish kin folk I guess. I doubt I go on account of I have to put a whole hog on the pit 5am Sunday morming. My family will just have to excommunicate me.

We got a feast all day.
Lunch-Fresh boudin,duck bombs,deer sausage for the guys preparing supper.
Evening- 2 smoked briskets,jambalaya,ribs and a roast.
Also 12-dos equis for daylight and a bottle of crown for nightime.
