When done right shrimp, but catfish is easier and therfore better most of the time

i cant answer that. depends on type of catfish and how it's done.
overall shrimp is better if not over cooked which a lot of places and people do. it's hard to beat small channel cat done correctly though.
with that said, i got about 4 gallons of big blue fillets in freezer. not a fan of those. thats what i feed the kiddos for fish frys.

i love whole catfish but hate the bones. in my opinion all catfish is not created equal. either one of my favorite fish to eat or the worst. i am picky when it comes to my fried fish

Catfish, because I prefer shrimp boiled and chilled with a nice red pepper sauce.

i also can make a fish look like they do on the cartoons when they pull fish out their mouth. nothing but bones. i would rather fillets though. those whole catfish pics you posted is size i like.

Fried shrimp all day long.
Catfish is a junk fish, and ranks right along side tilapia in terms of my overall interest.

Fried shrimp for me. I could go through a pile of fried shrimp while watching a movie, just like popcorn. I do like catfish but to me it's not even close.
