Anyone know where to get. I used to go to Whole foods, they weren't the best.

Fresh Market usually has then. Rouses sometimes has mussels, not sure about clams.

For clams and mussels, biology isn't on our side. Commercial clam and mussel production is cool/cold water Delaware and points north. PEI mussels (Prince Edwards Island Canada) is the best organized producer shipper.

Here on the Gulf, we are at the far end of the supply chain. Skip the groceries. Go to a wholesaler of your choice, ask what their supply schedule is and buy after a new shipment is in. Most will sell a bag or two to you.

Or...stick to La oysters...the best.

I know in N.O. Costco carries mussels and clams in their seafood area and I found them reasonable when I bought some. If there's a Costco in B.R. you might give them a try.
