Trying to do a few different types of home made fries (white and sweet) and dips for my mom for Mother's Day. Will pair it with fried catfish. It is her favorite food and she doesn't eat them often because she eat healthy normally so I want to make sure this comes out great. What are the best seasonings for fries and dips y'all have made to compliment them?

Salt, pepper, garlic salt, brown sugar. Or so I've been told. I've done it at home and it's delicious

Lately, I've been obsessed with truffle oil, garlic, and rosemary.

I love a good homemade tartar sauce with fries particularly when served with fried fish.

The double fry method works well for fresh fries. I don't know about sweet potato fries.

I been using this stuff a bunch on fries, and lots of other things

Can also mix and melt in some cheddar with some fries and make a good thick brown gravy to dredge through.

Lately I've been making a lemon vinaigrette with a healthy dose of Mexican Crema mixed in which helps it emulsify and improves the consistency I think.

Just make a vinaigrette with slightly more lemon than the standard 3:1 - mix in some crema and salt and pepper to taste.

I use it on lots of stuff - wings, fish, veggies and dip fries into it too. I could drink the stuff.

A riff on Patatas Bravas would be a nice accompaniment.
