Ottos is where it’s at. Prolly need reservations, it’s small. Fredericksburg shuts down early though, just a heads up on that.
Prolly should take a ride somewhere for bbq.

Crossroads is the only steakhouse in town, decent late night spot for classy people; Bucs is less classy but more fun
Hondos has a nice patio, but the food sucks
Opas sausage is good, but it can be bought at H-E-B on 16
Speaking of H-E-B on 16, most wine places let you bring in your own cooler with picnic foods so go stock up. If your place has a grill you can get great steaks for cheap too. Cheese and shite
Go to the Fairgrounds and place a pick 5 or pick 6 off track

Go to kerrville and get mamacitas and Mary's or rita's breakfast tacos. Breakfast tacos in DFW aren't even in the same universe as those in kerrville.
