Wife has been wanting to go here, but based off some of the other threads.... I have been hesitant. Welp, we went today after church for Mother's Day lunch. Everyone thought it was very, very good. Nice people, too.
We arrived early so service & attention was great. After our meal, the fella running the place brought my wife a slice of lemon cream cake as a Mother’s Day gift. We will 100% return, for dinner, and very soon. Huge portions for very reasonable pricing.
My son ordered the Calazone ... and it’s enormous. Filled w Italian Sausage & Cheese
My wife ordered the Chicken Della Casa (Chicken sautéed with spinach, onion, and mushrooms in a creamy wine cause. Served with garlic bread and your choice of pasta) over Angel Hair
I chose the baked pasta: Tortellini Ala Forno
(Tortellini with sautéed ham, mushrooms, meat sauce, and creamy sauce topped with mozzarella cheese.) It was very heavy, but very tasty. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The “meat sauce” was bits of sausage in cream, not traditional red. Tasty dish.
Lemon Cream Cake he gave my wife. Very good as well.
They did a really nice job today. Seem to be very nice folks, serving good food at a good price. It reminded me more of a neighborhood place than an upscale environment... but the food is good enough to be either. Based on the other threads, some folks just need to manage their expectations.
All in all, we all enjoyed our meal and got out of there w leftovers for less than $50.

We go to the one in Central all the time and we’ve never had any complaints.

Wife ordered to go Saturday from there since I was in bed sick all weekend. She got me the Lasagna, which was very good and enough for 2 meals. Not sure what she got but I didn't hear any complaints.

My wife and I were in there a few weeks ago on a Friday night. It looked like a slow night with not many people in there. This was a good thing because it seems that it's ran solely by the family and a couple of employees. It looked like mom was cooking, dad was tending bar and other things, and young daughter was helping the one waitress. If business picks up, their will be bad reviews because of the service. Food is great though.

okay, gave this place another shot friday evening.
Food is awful, service is terrible. How this place is still in business is a mystery.
Veal parm was a soggy, bland, tasteless mess. Marinara sauce looked more like old stubb's bbq sauce from the 70s.
alfredo was terribly bland as well.
They even managed to mess up the fired cheese sticks.
The server actually looked offended that we didn't want boxes to take this wonderful food home with us.
