I've been twice. Until they fix the bun I'm not going back. It has potential but the bun is critical and both times I've had pull from the bag day old buns.
I like the 2.50 velvet Mac and cheese side. It'll lock you up till Tuesday.

Bun has to be fixed for them to make it.

Woo woo Indian or dot Indian?
Neither of those terms are appropriate.
I believe the preferred nomenclature is "Indian? Dot or feather?"

Shame.
Late night and the hot dog are match made in heaven.

But if you ever have the chance to buy them or any other sausage from Dietz and Watson out of Philly then don't pass it by.
Albertson's carries all of Dietz and Watson sausages, hot dogs and meats. They are very good.

The slogan on their website is interesting.
"weiners so big you'll need 2 hands".
But I don't care for hotdogs so , I probably won't go.

Still need to fix the bun. It's not toasted or steamed.

I agree
The shitty whitebread buns don't hold up when you put all the toppings, sauces, etc. on. Even toasting it would help offset some of the problem. The real solution would be to find/buy a sturdier or more hearty bun that's capable of maintaining its structural integrity.
BTW
I had the Mad Hatter and Chicago dog. Both were good, except they ran out of tomatoes for my Chicago Dog (which kind defeats the purpose). I'll be back, but they need to tweak some things to set themselves apart.
This is how its done

I went to Frankie's today and left underwhelmed. I'm a regular negative Nancy, so take that for what its worth.
I had the Southern Chicago style dog + fries and a drink which ran me around $10. I really expected the wiener to be bigger. The bun was just a regular bun that you get at wal-marks. The toppings were good and plentiful, though. The fries were just frozen pre-cut, pre-seasoned fries but that's pretty common.
The dog was less filling then the average similarly priced hamburger, so the fries seemed like the main course. All I really have as a basis of comparison are hot dogs I used to have in NYC, which were the same size but cheaper.
I'm not sure what's up with the parking. They appear to not have planned for any parking, but maybe I just missed it. The "I'll tow your arse" signs are everywhere. I just parked under the interstate. The weather was good so it was no big deal.

See, this is BS. $10 bucks for a Chicago dog without a poppy seed bun?
I had one of the new Chicago dogs from Sonic (yeah, yeah

I love hot dogs and was very excited when this place opened. I went the other day and was very disappointed. The toppings and selection are great but its a basic hot dog and bun. It could be awesome with a better quality dog and bun. I won't be back anytime soon.

Food is pretty damn good and original.
Their parking sucks! Good luck parking ("legally") anywhere near during normal hours.

I had one of the new Chicago dogs from Sonic (yeah, yeah , et al) just to see. I hate their usual "Coney", but this was different. Better wiener, poppy seed bun, all the right toppings done correctly. It was comparable with Chicago Al. FOR $!1.99...plus the cost of a superior drink with the venerated Sonic ice.
I had one too, it was almost good, if they would put a NAthans or Hebrew National dog on there and steam or toast the bun it would be legit

This is true. I don't see why Sonic can't/won't work out a deal like this.

My bun appeared to be steamed--very soft and warm.

Just had a few Chicago dogs from Sonic to see the hype was about. In the words of the almighty Charlie Sheen, these hotdogs are all about winning.
