Many spices have wonderful aromas and overpowering tastes. Cinnamon has already been mentioned, but cloves come also to mind.

My 4 cup Melitta coffee maker has gone on the fritz. I now just do my own pour over using the existing carafe and filter system. I use more coffee per cup, but I think it tastes better. Thinking about getting a real pour over setup. Next I need a coffee grinder and whole beans.
