Food recs around Lake Tahoe?

Same question as the guy going to park city. I’m skiing Tahoe next weekend and looking for some decent food. Both north and south Tahoe?

Base camp pizza is good for lunch or dinner and is right by the Heavenly gondola. Edgewood has a nice restaurant overlooking the lake for a nicer diner and has great food.

I second Edgewood. Their bar and main dining both have excellent food. And views

Sunnyside is a nice spot. So is Garwoods

Garwoods and Jake’s on the Lake are both really good options in the north shore.

We enjoyed Garwoods. They cooked the rainbow trout and mackinaw for us we caught earlier in the day.

We stayed at Edgewood for a few days and enjoyed the food on site. I am a German food fan so we went to this little German restaurant up the mountain near Heavenly Ski Lodge. Very good German food and atmosphere.
