Flat top grill

Getting ready to build an outdoor kitchen. I’ve decided that I want to have hibachi griddle/flat top grill built in. Anybody have one that they would recommend?

My decision was between a grill and a flattop or both. I decided on a grill since it’s more versatile. If you can do both go for it.

I have a camp chef which is a stand alone. It has a griddle top attachment. If I were building in, I would build a nice gas range and find some type of griddle cover for the range.

My thoughts as well. I'm ready to see if the STEELMADE flat top griddle is worth a damn. I like the versatility of having a range or grill that can also perform as a griddle.

Get a grill, then get a flat top specially made for it.

I have one of these for my stove. It works great, and I wish I had done it for my grill instead. The issue I have with my stove is that my knobs start to stick from the heat. Other than that, this is an awesome piece of equipment.

Ha! Just seeing this after I made my post. Yes it works very well on my gas range (with that one issue, which could be a big one I guess). Seems like reviews say it's good for outdoor grills as well.

I have a Little Griddle Professional for use on top of the grill. It has a nice grease trap at the front.
