Oh, I thought you were bullshitting. That sounds pretty crappy even though I'm a big fan of both.

The wife makes a cold spicy cumcumber salad that makes a nice topping.

Julienned cucumbers. Some kind of spicy thai sauce - just a little because it's really hot. Lime juice. Salt. Pepper. Let chill overnight.

I didn't think I would like it but tried it last weekend. Gave a nice texture to the hot dog.

Exactly, I like both too. The place couldn't fry an oyster for shite so that was a big part of the fail IMO.

The bacon dog sounds like it would be good but it's not, dont even waste your time. It tastes just like the regular weiner there's no bacon taste at all.

It's just any time I come across a hotdog it's always a piece of shite from some sports stadium or at Joe Six Pack's house where he is cooking up lips and assholes dogs on a stale bun with a can of Hormel and shredded Kraft cheese on it.

I might fix a couple tonight. Oscar Meyer wieners, with Hormel chili and Kraft shredded cheese on a Holsum hot dog bun with plain ruffles and a ice cold coca cola. Damn that sounds good.

Simple recipe.

Julienned cucumbers right into a bowl using this to keep the juices.

A couple of spoonfuls of this:

Lime juice. Salt. Let chill overnight. It will add a nice texture.

Eta: No measurements...just to taste.
