Smells like a whorehouse in there too. Not that I'd know first hand, just been told.

Fish sauce by itself, I can take it or leave it.

But the fish sauce with Thai chillies in it...I'm addicted to that shite.

Grocery stores around here never carried it bottled like that, then some place called Seafood City opened up near me, so I always have a bottle in the pantry.

That is a Vietnamese dipping sauce can’t pronounce the name. Lime juice, sugar, fish sauce, salt, chilies. Pickling the vegetables with a little coriander

Same, I'm friends with some Vietnamese guys and that's what they recommended to me.

Where can I find Red Boat. Nothing wrong with three crab, but I want to compare

I just bought a bottle from Amazon several years ago. Not sure if it’s still a good buy there, but I paid what it cost try because I didn’t want to drive the distance to any Asian markets.

I expected it to be a little…funky. But I did not expect it to taste like something humans should be consuming. I tried it in a few recipes that called for it, but it just never connected with me.

Red Boat is a first press fish sauce, it's a little more intense and also has no sugar added to balance the salt.
