gonna have to investigate this place. Is it pricey?

It's not that bad. Cocktails around $10-ish. They also have small plates / desserts, but it's not much of an eating spot. Comparable to Cure. CellarDoor Menu

The Other Bar is a very underrated first date spot. Kinda hard to not have a good time in there. Never too packed, board games, and skee ball

Haven't heard of this joint. Will have to check it out.

right across the street from Dat Dog on Freret. It's a fairly small place. They have a happy hour from 4-8pm and the drinks are reasonably priced.

I've never been there when I wasn't absolutely loaded. Always had fun. But at that point discernment isn't exactly at an all-time high.

Is that the ultimate hipster joint on Freret? Tiny arse bar with limited space? I've only been once but haven't figured it out yet.

Yep. Underrated. It's a Kennabrah gift to NOLA.

First date I'd recommend Juan's or rum house. Both fun atmospheres.

CellarDoor is a great spot but they are still working out the kinks with service. But it's got a romantic yet casual atmosphere but the perfect lighting for a date. Y'all could do 3 drinks each and 3-4 small plates for $100 bucks. Then walk her to Sazerac bar for a late night drink. Then seal the deal.
