Zappas, I like your glassware. I haven't had a Helios yet but it sounds right up my alley.

Any point to that type of glassware compared to a normal pint glass?

Victory Helios, a bretta Saison. Damn good.

I have not tried that one, but I love the style.

SBD and TBD were Yazoo Hop Project on tap at Sal & Mookie's in Jackson. Very nice American IPA. Burger was damn good too.

Long day and a beer wouldn't do...three fingers of black maple hill boubon.

I love bourbon and that is a great one. Blanton's is my go to single cask. Three fingers over 3 cubes of ice.

SBD and TBD: Grimbergen Dubbel. Meh, nothing special but not terrible either. Right down the middle I guess.

I agree. Grimbergen D is not bad, but it is not great either.

However, my lifegivers are bringing me a bottle of Brux, Stone Anniversary, Mikeller\StillWater Our Side, and six packs of Hoptimum, Green Flash IPA and Red. Can't wait. Due to them knowing nothing about beer and pulling of an exceptional draw, I'll call them my parents...just this once.

They love you.

This is one of my Lakewood Brewery glasses they were giving away when you bought their beer last week. Lakewood is a local brewer and is named after the neighborhood I live in in Dallas.

65 or 66? I'm starting my count over. Fbd is Titan ipa.

Not sure, but it was very good. The waitress was clueless when it came to beer. When I ordered the beer she asked if I wanted a cup or a pitcher. Titan IPA is so good--nice malt component.

I like that beer. I wish I'd brought back more from FL. We have plenty of beers available in BR as good and better, but it is nice to drink new stuff.

I remember the first time I tried this beer on tap in Athens years ago--it was a new brewery then. I really enjoy rye ales.
