It's pretty amazing. You can actually taste the difference in the water. They include a tester to measure the ppm. Tried it on my Britta and it measured about 160ppm, bottled water 180ppm and tap water at 220ppm, the Zero Water was actually ZERO.Highly recommend!

Does it go on the sink faucet or is it just a filtered pitcher?

Parts per million of total dissolved solids in water. Pure RO tastes pretty nasty, bottled water has added minerals or comes naturally from a spring.

How does it compare to a Berkey? I keep intending to buy a Berkey as part of my hurricane supplies.

Natural mineral/spring water sure, but purified stuff like Dasani,Aquafina, Nestle...etc will be well under 10 ppm for TDS. I believe mthey switched from TDS limits to EC and TOC a while back though.

Of course you can taste the difference; you've removed anything that has any taste

I prefer having a slight mineral content to my water, but to each his own.
