Looking to try this place out this weekend. I like the variety of oyster plates. Any opinions on this place.

I didn’t try their oysters but in my visit to New Orleans, I think it was my favorite restaurant in terms of overall quality and bang for the buck.

Big fan. Always chuckle at the tourists waiting in line for Acme with Felix's right across the street.

It's in my top 3, and arguably the best in the French Quarter.

Casamento's is my "go to", but not in the quarter...

One of my go-to's when I'm down. Rb&r is excellent as is anything I've had there

Some of the best local oysters in town. I was more of a fan before they redecorated because it seemed like more of an old time oyster bar and you could feel the history. Now it has more of a modern decor. I second laughing at tourists lined up for ACME. There are better oysters across the street at Felix's.

Then you'd still feel stupid for standing in the longer line for the same thing. Or not, I dunno.

Not sure if they have the same owner but wasn't long ago they were having money issues that were interrupting the normal supply chain.

Last time I passed by both places, I woundered about how good is Felix's. Like y'all said, the wait for Acme was LONG! I like to try new places when I go, so I'm definitely going to stop for lunch. Thinking Mr.B's for dinner.

Remoulade's for raw oysters in the quarter. Best kept secret.
