Stuff is great. I'm fairly new to the area as well, and Karbach is my local favorite.

Is a Rodeo Clown a hot BXN? I made friends with the territory salesman for Karbach here in TW and I think that I stand about a 99% chance of anything they put out that I want.
Funny story, I met him at a cask tapping on Friday of last week and then I was in HEB today and was grabbing a 4 pack of Rodeo Clown and heard a voice say "StinkDog12, you like that Rodeo Clown?"
We got to yapping again and I think I can get any karbach that anyone needs now.
I've yet to scale how big of a deal that may be though....?
I'm just not familiar enough with their brews and what other people think of it. I know I like it though.

I'm a fan of all Karbach offerings I've had. It may not be a hot trading commodity/BXN item, not sure.
Karbach's F.U.N. Series beers that I've had are pretty tasty. Their Christmas beer, Yule shoot your eye out, is also really good. El hopadillio would be my go to IPA in Houston no doubt.

Stink, most of the Mavens I know consider Rodeo Clown to be an OK DIPA, but nothing special. I certainly enjoy it, but I would not seek it out.

4BD bomber style
When a beer pours with that dark, rich mahogany head I can't help but get excited. The taste does not disappoint. This is a really solid brew.
ETA: The cocoa nibs are really prominent as it crosses the palate. I dig this. I was told it's the same base as Mexican Cake, and after tasting it I don't doubt it.

Fort George makes a pretty solid black IPA in a can, called Next Adventure. It's actually black, too...

Almost ordered a box this afternoon that included some of their Drunkin Pumpkin. Talked myself out of it. If I keep drinking tonight I might reconsider that decision

If you can, order some of their Java the Hop. It's a trip. I think everyone should at least try it.
ETA: It really is a pretty tasty beer.
