I have all kind of advice but since this is a beer thread I'll stay on topic. Ave Pub is a great place to catch Zulu and Rex, that is if you are up that early. It's not very crowded and you can use the bathroom there if you buy drinks. It's where I'll be.

Well, OK. I really did not care for it. It was super boozy when I had it and the orange flavor was incredibly acerbic. It was at the Bulldog on Mag, so maybe they screwed it up. But it's all subjective

Kim, yeezy / I think it's pretty quality. The orange is quite subtle and provides a nice acidic balance to the roastyness. Not worth the $7.50 for a 10oz pour but if it was cheaper I'd drink it again.

Headed across the street to Dolce Vita to pick up a pie. Will probably drink wine with dinner and then switch back to beer.

That is the way I could describe most of their beers. Good stuff, but not worth the $.

I'm assuming that all of you have had Rodeo Clown before with all of the Houston BXNers up in here, right?

Obviously I'm new to the area but rodeo clown and endevour are my new local faves so far. That are available on the reg that is.

Ran a marathon (obviously with water and Gatorade) on a peanut butter bagel and a cup of joe

Where did you find those Santa Fe brews? I've only been able to track down a few at Stein's.

Maybe one day

ETA: Pence, I grabbed them from Elio's. It was on my way home from work. I haven't really actively looked yet.

Thank you good sir. Stein's has been the only place I've found them, but he didn't have too much. I'll check Elio's later this week.
