FBD- Today's release of Waxing Poetic- Blue Raspberry. Now this is a summertime beer.
Spent almost two hours driving around the city picking up today's massive beer release. Answer dropped a DIPA collab with Other Half, Triple Crossing released two fan favorites (Waxing Poetic and Nectar & Knife), and Veil had their usual release. Totally skipped Veil because today's offerings just weren't worth the wait for me.

I've had good beers from Marble and La Cumbre. I think they're both based in Alba-coiky. But then again, so is Bosque, IIRC.
ETA: May have to hit up ABV on the way home. They have a beer by Claim 52 that I've been wanting to try. Plus they have 3-Way and Tang on tap as fallbacks...

Fbd a Pliny at the Monk's Kettle in SF.
My brother and cousin ordered that beast of a sour. It's off the chain.

Whole Foods on Cerrillos has a good draft selection, and normally some good bombers from LaCumbre and Boxing Bear.
Draft Station and Fire & Hops in the downtown area.
Susan's Fine Wine & Spirits has a good local section from LaCumbre and Bosque, and also some interesting shelf turds like Firestone Walker stuff that people wait in line for in Houston.
Albuquerque is only 45 minutes away. If you have time, strongly suggest driving out to Bosque, LaCumbre and Boxing Bear breweries for their IPAs on draft. Bosque has their IPA Challenge 3.0 out now on tap at the brewery. 2.0 was really good. LaCumbre Project Dank is a must have if you can find it.
I will recommend, though, due to the altitude and the way those three NM breweries make those danky IPAs, drink lots of water! If not, you'll get dehydrated like a MFer.

Has anybody tried Black Butte XXIX, yet? It got released a couple of weeks ago, but I haven't seen anybody drinking it, yet. Just wondering how it tastes. I will probably try some next time I go to Deschutes, but that might be a while.
I will probably pick some up for later in the year. Easily my favorite Deschutes seasonal beer.

FBD- Not a Rye IPA, but more like a good amber ale with rye. Pretty good stuff.

NBD - Claim 52 Cryo Fluffy. Very nice. Fantastic nose. Juicy on the palate and finishes clean. This is a one off derivative of their regular IPA, called Fluffy.
