It was only a matter of time.

Name change or new beer?

FBD- Almanac Farmers Reserve #4. Delicious. Still haven't had a bad beer from them.

For those interested, the first F1 practice of the year is on NBCSports right now.

Probably just a name change. Regardless of the opinion of the small bubble that is this board the beer does very well for them. Keeping the same beer and rebranding it is a testament to this.

I'm quickly becoming an Almanac fanboy. The 3 that I've had are great. Barrel Noir is great!

I like Invasion, it's a good change of pace from Jai Alai.

I'd pay good money for that ppiggy wiggly glass.

So I've wanted to drink these side by side for a long time to really just be able to articulate just how different they are. Both stouts, but decidedly different takes on the style. Both are so tasty, but sampling them together really pushes the smokiness of Ten FIDY forward in a way that I don't think I've fully appreciated before. Similarly, the body of the TF makes the FBS seem a lot thinner, which is actually something I like from beers with those coffee flavors. Fun little comparison that I think makes me appreciate both of them more.
