Damn. Final results of the "Best Beer Bar in Portland" poll.
I haven't even been to the top 3. I've hit up 4 & 5, and 7 thru 13. How can I miss the top 3? I don't know what I know, anymore. I think the list is a little "off", if Apex is 12th, but I've got some work to do. Gotta vet these places...
Anybody on this board been to some of the places I missed?
I'm putting the list out there for reference if any of you end up visiting Portland.

I wonder if Ross can lend some insight into why I feel like this has more malt. Perhaps they tweaked something or perhaps it's just my fricked up palate (most likely problem). I haven't had a cigarette in a week. Maybe I can just taste again

Also, if you ever see Old South brand pickled okra at the store, don't bother. It's cheap for a reason. I'd never noticed it before and figured I'd give it a shot. Some fibrous, stringy bullshite. I almost tetu'd the jar and pickled okra is one of my favorite things ever.

Been MIA from this thread for the last couple weeks dealing with buying my first house. Finally getting settled in and have a chance to check out the neighborhood. First stop a Mexican joint a few blocks away that has Tropicalia on tap. Things are looking good so far.
