No pics but I'm in Nashville for the weekend and just got back from Smith & Lentz and Bearded Iris. Had 8 different beers from S&L and 4 from BI including DDH Homestyle and DDH Scatterbrain. IMHO the stuff Parish and Great Raft are putting out blows these guys away. BI beers are really good but not on Parish's level. Don't take LA beer for granted just bc we can get it, it's top notch.
Also, any other breweries we should try or beers that I should look for while I'm here?

to each their own, but i disagree. BI is pumping out beer that I would put against almost any brewery in the country. That's not a knock on Parish, I love their beer and have been drinking it for three years or so thanks to the folks in this thread. But BI is most definitely not getting "blown out" by Parish
same goes for great raft, which I also love

I'll have to side with Gnar on this one. The BI stuff I had was hitting on all cylinders, but we are lucky to have great beer all around the south. Check out Southern Grist while you are there, I only went for a flight but what I had was great.

I guess blowing them out the water was a little hyperbolic but I would put 4x dh envied and ghosts better than anything I just had from them. Your right though, it's subjective and they are all excellent!
