2nd time trying it, not bad.

The fifty fifty eclipse elijah craig 12 barrel aged beer was the winner. Maybe the best barrel aged beer ive ever had.

Second and Last beer of the day: Orval Trappist Ale

Both beers I have had today remind me of how much I love trappist ales and their complexity. Lots of notes of fig, plum, raisin littered throughout out the beer accompanied with a bready, yeasty mouth feel. They are complex and hide the alcohol content very well. I need to buy more in the future.

I feel the same. I love the style. Have you tried any of the Unibroue beers?

Definitely lived up to its reputation.

I love bourbon barrels.

Our friend from whole foods brought it by. Belgian dark ale, you'd like it.

Glad to see they got it back. Nice game.

I didn't go to the baseball game or have a fifty/fifty eclipse but I DID have this RIS aged in Pappy Van Winkle Barrels.
And had

Which was nice.

FBD still awaits me. Just 15 more minutes after going suit shopping after work today. It was a necessity but sucked! I did get a $650 suit for $215 after taxes.
