Monteleon is going for 150-200 tonight on most sites, but I imagine it is all relative. Sometimes price shopping through hotels.com, kayak, priceline, etc could be cheaper and sometimes cheap tickets. Or do.you use a different site

I'm not talking about any of those. I am talking about blind booking. Where you book a hotel based on location and star level, but you don't know what hotel it is until you enter your payment information and it is confirmed. It will say "Congrats! You are now booked at _____"

So unless you know the tricks to finding out which hotel it is, you don't know. But you have an idea. If it is 4-star, it is going to be Hilton, Omni, etc. If it is 4.5, you have Le Pav, Monteleone, Hyatt by the Dome, etc.

Right now, there is a 4.5 star in Quarter, which is usually Royal Sonesta or something, for $101 and a 4.5 star in Dome area, which is always Hyatt, for $74 (well, actually it just went up to $106 and $79 because I assume the site is getting traffic).

If a man wants to sit in an under-construction house with a six-pack and smoke a little grass, he should have that right. Christ. Isn't this America? Isn't that what our country was founded upon? The Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves.

Downed a 3rd Bud Heavy at the pool. Came inside to make sure I didn't burn. Contemplating how the afternoon will play out and if I need another beer here or if I'm venturing out

FBD - Ex Novo Dynamic Duo DIPA. Nice beer. The guy sitting next to me says the brewery is a really cool place. Will have to hit it up, soon.
This looks a lot like that Yellow Rose that Ham had.

ETA: My beer looks more like a YR than Ham's.
