How's the Covington strawberry? I don't think I have ever had it. The only other strawberry beer I have had is the Sam Smith's strawberry - which I do enjoy more than Abita's.

I think this will be an off week for me from beer. Had a pretty epic weekend though that's for sure.
We participated in the Worlds smallest toast with Chouffe and had a fair share of our favorite Lou Pepe kriek. It was a great time with some great friends.

FDD is a G and T.

What you think about that Black and Blue Tetu??

Let me know a good night or evening to get your beer to you....

you too RU and you too BMoney(Iknowwhereyoulive)

Hell, I'll just relive last night a little.

Some of my favorite things going on in this pic.

Formula1, Rayon Vert and some lost abbey glassware sitting in my living room on the couch with my SO. Doesn't get any better.

This year's batch seems better than others I've had,
i totally agree. I didnt drink last years but the 2010 had a distinct "lager" taste to it that i dont like. This years is veru smooth and tasty. It has its place.

meh. Wont be picking up another. Had a great aroma but the taste was overpowered with cough syrup. My wife seems to love all the DFH big bottles (red & white, black & blue, chateau jiahu, theobroma) while they're mostly miss for me. (theobroma being the only one i can think of that ive truly enjpyed)

In any case thanks for the bottle, ive been wanting to try it for it for awhile.

idk, just remember it tasting like a light lager. Theres something about most lagers that i dont enjoy (other than a few styles)

No problem.. I felt it kind of tasted like a triple haze and not necessarily in a good way.

Here's some new things we framed for the beer room from out SD trip.
This is the DFH coaster puzzle art we put together at the Toranado.

This is a pretty cool yeast DNA bar chart poster thing from Green Flash.

FBD: Southern Tier Unearthly Imperial IPA
(bomber = 2 pints)

Pretty delicious. Poured an absolute gorgeous light amber colour. Plenty of sweet, syrupy malty flavors balanced out by a nice citrus hoppiness. Coats the mouth like a blanket.

Sounds so good. I haven't had that one. I love the DIPA/Imperial IPA style beer.
