I was wondering what that meant exactly.

2BD- This took a little while to warm, but once it did I really enjoyed it. Malty, with some spice/rye flavor.

Kim, still working on the BXN stuff we talked about. Trying to get it over here from Houston. Will let you know when I have it in my possession.

Drinking Timber Beast one day, I had one and the wife had one. She posted her pic to Instagram and my picture sucked. I stole her pic and posted it in the FBD thread and announced that it was my wife's timber beast.....so I showed off the wife's timber beast to everyone.

Her timber beast

She reads the threads from time to time so started laughing at it. Lots of other sideways comments that night.

I bet that's good....

I feel like I've tried a lot of different beers but at the same time I've never had anything from firestone walker, the bruery, three Floyd's, jester king, ale smith, the alchemist just to name a few.......I got some work to do if I'm going to obtain true maven status.....

I almost cracked the one you gave me the other day. I am thinking it will be a good one to enjoy while watching the baseball game tomorrow.

It is a difficult status to obtain. I haven't had Heady Topper yet, and I have yet to have anything from 3 Floyds, but I'm fortunate to have a connection in California that has enable me to try all the FW, Alesmith, and Bruery that I can handle. Most of it is available online too if you are interested.

Thanks for sharing the Timber Beast story. You can always tell us what some of those sideways comments were too.

Good job explaining that ft. I was not going to attempt to capture the magic of the moment, but you did it.

I've been fortunate to try some really good beers..... I'll slowly but surely continue to work my way down the list of new beers....

SBD: the rest of the farmhouse IPA.... I know I know... One bottle = one beer.... Rules are made to be broken... Come at me bro
