This is true. There is oxygen exposure from the tap into the crowler while being filled. As long as the crowler is properly filled and sealed though, I would think that it would not fade much over a few days in the crowler.

i try to drink them within a week just just to be on the safe side, but once opened if its a screw top within that day and a flip top within 2-3 days
