Doing a pale ale with my homegrown hops. We'll see. Could be terrible, but I'm still going to drink it. It's some neomex variety and they're pretty melony.
Truth be told, in 100+ batches, this is my first time using whole hops. First time for everything, ya know?

I've used my homegrowns for a fresh hop but always had to supplement with some pellets since I didn't have enough wholes from the garden. turned out fine, not my best though.

Is that the hefe you did the decoction mash for? How'd the end product end up? Worth it?

Yea, I'm pretty happy with it. I was worried the hops would clash or overpower the banana and clove flavors but I think I got the balance I was looking for. I guess I would have to brew one using Single infusion, sparge like i usually do to determine the difference. But I get the banana and clove with a slight citrus from the biotrans citra hops and slightly bitter back end.

Perm is mostly 100% full of shite.

We actually do play a forest preserve course where there are multiple par 4s in the 230-250 range. I've driven the green a few times on those. It's not so much the distance it's knocking it straight.

How can you be “mostly 100%”, dipshit? It was 340 to the flag which was in the back. Drive was probably 325/330 downwind. Sorry if you have a small penis.

The average drive on the PGA tour is about 293, so that would be a world class drive if true. Johnson when he gets into it is putting it about 330-340.
