8 hours of driving and we made it to Perryville, MO--about 80 miles south of St. Louis. FBD is a Parish Envie. On to Omaha in the morning.

Yup. I've only been there 3 times (just moved here for the summer) but I am in love with that place.

be sure to check out the West Alabama Ice House just down the road. one of the best bars in the city. they have a great local beer lineup. also, don't forget to get some tacos from the taco truck just across the street while at the ice house. best tacos i've ever had. all authentic.

here's is pic in my photobucket account from 2 weeks ago:

Bookmarked. I'll be going here next week for sure. I went to Hay Merchant last week and I think we all enjoyed it.

That's a cool bar too.

Grab a growler from Growlers beer and wine co at the corner of Waugh and Dallas. Got some good stuff going on there.

2BD- Great Lakes Lake Erie Monster. Thanks again to Dear Leader. At first I thought it was a little too malty, but it has grown on me. I like it a lot.

I love Hay Merchant. The other bars you have to check out while you're here...West Alabama Ice House, Petrol Station, Liberty Station, D&T Drive Inn

Specs midtown is great, but also check out D&Q Mini Mart on Richmond. It's an old gas station that is a fairly unknown beer mecca.

This is my SBD also. You are right, it is a malty DIPA, like a Great Divide IPA, but I like it. I am drinking one with my nephew that got them for me in Ohio.
