eh the Voodoo Bengal...?

I tried some a Sammy's after the decent reviews I've read on here recently and I regretted it.

It's just not a good beer. Bitter for the sake of being bitter but not in any good sort of way.

One Specs did
Then they transferred a case to the one I go to
Then List Eater bought it and is holding it for ransom, the bastard

I'm beginning to think it's a Sammy's problem. I've had it twice there and it's been terrible. But it's been good out of the can of late. Had it somewhere else recently and it was good. Wonder if Sammy's cleans their lines often enough...

FBD: Homebrewed Honey Brown IPA through the Randall with honeycomb and cascade leaves. SBD: Sixpoint 3Beans

That might be it for me tonight.

Also kegged a batch of Saison and pitched a rosemary IPA.

This. Except I didn't pitch the yeast for the IPA. Sampled the saison though and it is tasty. Nice funk to it.

TBD back home is a RR Damnation.

FBD - Freetail Tim Dunkel
SBD - Freetail La Rubia
TBD - 512 Bruin
4BD - Freetail End of the World Ale

After that...the longest drive from San Antonio to Houston EVAR! If you're driving through San Antonio, be sure to stop by Freetail Brew Pub. Then hit up Gabriel's Liquor Superstore right down the road.

To me, It's better than jockamo, but when it's in the fridge next to a 6-pack of dogfish head 60 minute it's tough to compare.

It's hard to be worse than Jockamo. One of the worst IPA's I've ever tasted.

Abita's Spring IPA is solid, if a little weak. Like most Abita beers it's a serviceable craft beer that isn't the best in it's particular style. In the case of Spring IPA, there are numerous better ones out there...but for Abita it's a solid beer. Good amount of hop bitterness with the first few sips and it tastes like a West Coast style of beer. It just doesn't have that backbone like it's better counterparts do. Kind of fizzles out after a few seconds of drinking it. No lingering hop residue whatsoever.

Just saying, to me the Tin Roof Blonde is better than Nola Blonde. This is just my opinion. I'm sure I'm in the minority.
