NBD is a Prohect Pam. Was being set out on the shelf today at cdro's place when I walked up. Really solid beer. I've had this exact style before (black ipa with syrup in bourbon barrels) and I really enjoyed it. I believe it was by Against the Grain, thanks to the poster fka TigerHam. Anywho this is delicious.
Also, that new 12/9 Envie is like a damn whale in BR. Couldn't find it. But got lots of 12/2 commotion

The 12/1 had a little "off" flavor, I thought. Still damn good, though. The 12/15 was just awesome. I'm interested to see if you noticed the difference. The Brewer says only mavens can tell the difference...

The 12/1 wasnt in a Ziploc bag. The 12/15 batch is as good as its ever been, IMO.

Whole Foods in Metairie. Fredd was stocking it today. I've actually been passively looking for fresh Commotion for a minute. I think Elio's had the November batch before I went home too.
ETA: I ain't mad about it -- it's drinking great! I just said something because I know you read/post. Gotta keep the pressure on. Wouldn't want you to think we don't buy Arkansas/East Texas beer down here

Even if there is November dated commotion in the market, that is still only 4-6 weeks old. The beer is consistent enough in formula and recipe to be ok for this period of time.
