Just had 9 4oz samplers at Ballast Point: their r&d series apricot tripel, pineapple sculpin, RIS were all spectacular beers. I don't know if I can still be wowed by hoppiness any more but they make some solid session IPAs and APAs for sure (I really like fresh grunion on tap). Gonna hit Modern Times Loma next I think

Pearl Street Brewery out of Wisconsin, got it in a trade. Pretty decent, some nice coffee flavors but not sure on the age of it. I think it may be a bit older and I think fresh I would get a better coffee flavor from it.
