Kim,

Can you give me a run down on the Furious v. Abrasive v. Pentagram. Is Abrasive that much better than Furious?

I have not tried the Pentagram yet. It is a wild ale, so I am expecting a funky farmhouse type ale. I will let you know next week.

I've had lots of Furious and Abrasive. Both are great. Furious is like an amber IPA--complex and awesome. Abrasive is a full blown DIPA and is as good as it gets.

5BD was a Jester King RU-55 split with tetu.

6BD was a SweetWater IPA as a palate cleanser.

7BD was a Pipeworks Abduction imperial stout.

Abrasive is seasonal and almost gone, so focus on it. Furious, Coffee Bender and Cynic all great.

Is RU-55 available or was it a small batch and tough to find?

I'm fairly new too. Never had Pliny, Heady, or Hopslam, so I'm really looking forward to the Abrasive. In the future I hope we can work something out. That was mighty cool of you. I'd given up on Abrasive. I hope my wife understands two beer shipments in just a couple days though.

Small batch. JK is supposedly working towards having these sours out on a regular rotating basis.

Hell no. I destroyed that stuff. It was fantastic. That and the funk metal are must tries.
