Drove down after visiting Acadia this morning. Unfortunately the weather did not allow for us to see the sunrise from Cadillac mountain—first sunrise in the US most of the year. We were able to see Thunder Hole which is cool.

Completely agree about Battery Steele. Really small place on the rise.

I mentioned this a while back, but for a slight change of pace you can go right next door to Oxbow to Honeymead. They have a ton of different meads and I think a tasting of all of them is like $12. They produce some pretty good stuff.
