TBD was a shiner bock at the local catfish shack.

FBD thirsty planet Bucket Head IPA ... Probably my favorite IPA right now.

This is the one heavily sold in Austin correct? I had it at an upscale burger joint on the main strip and it was delicious.

Yes, yes you do. I'll be drinking a ton of this stuff over the summer thanks to Bmoneys initial review...even though he used that review to bash Endeavor.

Oh and FBD is Odell Red Ale. I'll admit I haven' drank a ton of Reds but this is a solid, easy drinking beer. I'm really enjoying it and if reds are similar to this, Reds and Sours are about to start getting destroyed around my house.

Yea, an Austin beer. Only available on draft. Katy Trail Ice House in Dallas has it as a regular draft option.

Cause the only Endeavor I had was awful. Will try it again to see if I got a skunky one. But I'm in no hurry.

I think the one on the right is. The one of the left is for christmas next year and I don't think it's a sour.

Off the beer, on to my first taste of 18 yo Jefferson Presidential Select and it's everything the Doctor said it was. Awesome.

How was it? Never had this one.

Final BD is a La Fin du Monde. This is one of my top 5 beers and it never disappoints.

You should see the storage room and storage room-fridge

Decided to head back down for memorial weekend. Hopefully I have enough until then.

Well...that didn't work out like I was hoping it would (or did it?). I made some shrimp etoufee, the darkest roux I've ever made (fridged for tomorrow to thicken), but as I'm sure all are aware, you can't make a roux without a beer...or two. Even better when you've worked out and not eaten the entire day. Yeah I had two of those DHF, which I would qualify as "good" but nothing great, and one of those Hoptumium"
(and the Endeavor is gone). I think the hopheads will enjoy the SN Hoptimum. Hoppy beers are the best. /done
