I try to break up the monotony on the board. The beer scene here in Oregon is insane. I promote it a little bit on here, and a number of people on this board have come to Portland for beercations, and I try to be as helpful as I can. Some people may take it the wrong way, but hey, that's OK, and doesn't bother me.
You can make a case that DDH GiTM is better than any DIPA brewed in Oregon, and you won't get any argument from me. However, Oregon's amazing variety and constantly changing beer scene is a sight to behold. It's exciting because I know that next year, there will be a couple of new breweries here that are pumping out some crazy good shite - like Great Notion, Level, Claim 52, and Alesong are doing now. I would love to see the same thing happen in the deep South, because in all likelihood, I will end up back down there.

Elio’s had them, that’s where I picked them up. As opposed to a certain grocery store in Baton Rouge who now is banning OB in a fit.
