I was gonna shut it down, but I am in the middle of an intense week at work--all the while hoping that an old friend, who is sick, can hang on until the weekend so I can say goodbye. Headed to Tampa Saturday.

We've been talking on the phone. My best childhood friend through high school and into college. I hope he can hang on until I get there Saturday. Very sad.
