Indeed. I like it a lot. First time trying. Grabbed it in Denver a while back.

Really'? So GOAT in the Machine must be your favorite DIPA? I can't imagine the nose getting much better than that.

Andrew from Parish was losing his mind about heady last night. Basicalky said it was the best he's ever had, and the standard for everything they do. To make something that intense, yet accessible.

I have never had it so I just nodded along

Pliny on tap at the RR brew pub was the best nose I've had...A fresh DJ is second but I have not tasted heady or GITM

The last batch was up there with the best DIPA nose ever for me. It is not my favorite, but it can hang with the best.

HEB had Live Oak Pale Ale on tap-probably their most "meh" beer. Love the Hefe-my favorite U.S. Hefe.

I like a distinct nose but it has to have the goods when it goes past the buds.

Ideally you want it all, but it all starts with the nose.

Devil's harvest and rebirth are pretty close for me. I actually prefer rebirth. I do agree Envie is better than both.

Now so pro's ipa is a lot better than hopitoulas to me.

As good as the nose on Heady is, Maine Dinner might have the best, most intense nose on a DIPA I've ever experienced. You can pick that one up across the table as soon someone pops the top.

But to your point, there is a sizable list of DIPA's with aromas as intense or slightly better than Ghost. But like Kim said, it can hang with the best.
