Thanks bench. I'll be fine. If I see it negatively affects my diet I'll back off. But I think it'll be fine as long as I moderate.

Be careful with Russian Imperial Stouts. Usually about 300 calories per beer.

Really? I thought Guinness was heavy at ~150. Are you talking 300 for a bomber or 300 for a normal 14 oz beer?

You crack me up bench. I have capt morgan and vodka in my freezer if I ever feel like getting drunk. I can either take shots or mix those with some zero-cal beverages for a 'cheap' drunk.. cheap on my diet

FBD: Homebrewed Chocolate Stout (2011)

Most off flavores it had a year ago are gone. It tasted fruity. Doesn't really go well with stouts.

Smell is spicy with some chocolate. Tastes similar with a spicy tang (almost hint of sour)

I'm realizing I'm very good at contaminating my brews. (25% success rate)

What's y'alls take on glasses/mugs? Do they make that huge of a difference?

Was thinking about getting these.

I'm a believer in glassware. That said, I would pass on the Libbey set. I'm a fan of the Spiegelau Tulip glasses since they taper on the top of the glass. I would get the Spiegelau Tulip glasses for most beers and some weizen glasses for your wheat beers.

I don't think you need to spend much $ yet. Just buy an inexpensive set of wine tumblers (you know, the stemless wine glasses). I use these most of the time.
