How is that place? Wonder how it compares to the Jucy Lucy at Bread and Circus.

NBD is a mystery bourbon shot before walking across the river to the game. Hydrate.

Weighing in on yesterday's debate -- New Belgium/Alpine collab Super IPA

A whole lot of citrus flavor. I don't think the nose is anywhere near GOAT's. This is a good IPA, but I could see where those that like a more dank IPA would be disappointed.

FBD

I have found this beer to be inconsistent. I've had a few that had a nice citrusy aroma and tasted of citrus and hops. Over the past week I've had two, including this one, that have zero aroma and a flat, malty taste. I thought Abita was on to something with this beer but I am not enjoying this one.

Got some Bayou Teche drinking going on at Grub, I see. Good deal.

As for Grub itself, I hope the burger at the Lafayette location is better than what I had when it opened in Midland. Disappointed after so much hype. The did have by FAR the best beer selection of any restaurant/bar in the Midland-Odessa area.

FBD: Hop Rising - At $8.99-$9.99 per 6-er, I need to have this in my regular fridge lineup more often. Kind of like yesterday's discussion about Sweetwater IPA now being overlooked because of its availability in some parts, same with this beer, IMO.

NBD was a Wicked Weed French Toast Stout, grabbed a few beers to send to Oregon-land. It's so damn hard to find shite that guy can't get

Anyway, that French Toast was pretty tasty. Headed to a beer bar to settle in to watch them Bayou Catholics curb stomp those Midwest Catholics.

FBD will be in about an hour. Making a rasberry concentrate with Hottenroth. Will see how well this turns out.

I thought the burger was pretty legit. Cooked nicely, great flavor, overall very good.
