FBD - Working from home.

Cox had no answer as to why our internet was out for the 1000th time or when it would be back, so I’m at home making cold calls to Mechanical Subs.
While I’m trying to find a sub who will work in BFE, might as well crack open a couple of cans of the Sunkatcher 4-pack I bought yesterday. It’s a 7.5% New England from SoPro with Azacca, Cashmere, Citra, and Lotus (a newer hop I’ve only had once prior) — with a hop bill like that, you know I’m in!
Damn, it’s always nice to have a new, fresh New England just blow you away! This one DELIVERS. Sweet, woody pineapple on the nose with an everso slight tinge of booze. It drinks perfectly for a NEIPA. Great balance of sweetness with dryness, soft malt and juicy hops — all hops meld into a wonderful blend of passionfruit, pineapple, light resins, and stone fruit. This is a must-try in my opinion!
The 4-pack I got yesterday from Elio’s is dated 7/17, so if you see it, get it! Absolutely stellar beer.

Took the day off to do some things around the house. Got bored and went to the grocery store to pick up some things.
FBD is a Sticky Hands. Fresh AF with a 7/29 canning date. That is the beauty of Sticky Hands. I don't think I've ever seen one more than 2 weeks old, thanks to Block 15's self distribution model. One more reason to allow self distribution - it allows the brewery to control where the fresh beer is distributed. It's a game changer.

SBD-
I'm not employed in my field of study & experience since moving to Central NY, and a month into being unemployed I took a delivery job just to have something to do. I've also been driving Lyft, but the opportunities have been light and probably won't pick up until the college kids come back. I'm hoping a permanent employment opportunity will come along in the next month or so, or else winter will be REALLY long.
On a positive note I watched a YouTube video on how to replace this part on the washing machine and got everything working again; I felt somewhat useful after fixing this today. The plastic hot water intake stripped and the hose would fly off leaving the basement a bit wet.

Thanks for the encouragement Curds, Kim, et al. On a positive note I've logged 125 miles running this month.
