Got 3-4" more snow, on top of the 10" we had earlier this week. Definitely stout weather.

FBD - this is real good...

My wife's gonna be mad that she has to shovel the driveway, again...

Damn, I miss that beer. I used to drink other Brooklyn beers too like Local 1 and Local 2.

Wow, I forgot about those. I haven't seen them either, I need to pay attention next time I'm at specs.

Kim, the only place I ever see Brooklyn at is Whole Foods. They had the chocolate stout, but were out. They had Local 1 as well. I saw they got Black ops at the Metairie Whole Foods. I miss their beers, brings back lots of great memories.

Both are so good and at the top of the class in their styles IMO. I miss them like I miss Unibroue La Fin du Monde and Maudite.

Same here. I thought that Brooklyn was no longer distributed in LA.

My wife and I went to the brewery when we were in New York in January of 08. We were fortunate to be able to taste Local 1 on tap before it even hit the markets. We were floored by how good it was. I ran out to buy a couple bottles as soon as it hit the LA. market. Brought home the Local 1 glass from our trip to pour it in. Like I said, memories.

La Fin du Monde, Maudite, and Trois Pistoles were in my weekly rotation back then too.

With the craft scene getting so big in the last decade, I don't see as many Belgians anymore. Heck I don't see Brooklyn, Souther Tier, Ballast Point, Avery, Green Flash, and even the variety of Stone as we used to.

Yep. The local stuff has now pushed the old guard stuff off of the shelves.
