What's the ghost in the machine availability going to look like?

Dr H/Farmhouse level. Although the end result is a little less than they expected because of all the damn hops. But it won't be Grand Reserve craziness. Although there is a decent amount of word of mouth hype on this beer.

Tomorrow and Wednesday probably.

Same as the other 2 probably. $13-$15 range

Had some farmhouse and some Envie last night and thought they were both pretty damn good. If you would have told me Farmhouse was from FunkWerks I would have believed it.

Question on farmhouse IPA. I've seen some bottles around lately, but not sure if their old or if they distributed the new ones recently. Any way to know?

Just curious, but what would be your example of reasonably priced?

I don't think they've distributed the new batch yet

FBD is an rds homebrew Sour Saison with Brett. Very nice effort. It is a sour funkbomb. This bottle is not nearly as carbonated as I was expecting after reading his description last night. It actually has very little carbonation.

Okay. I knew some kegs had been floating around, but didn't know if bottles had rolled out at all. If anyone wants some old FIPAs, Rouses on Tchoup has a good bit.

It's got to be a new batch. If the one I had last night was an old batch I'd still be waiting for the head to subside.

Makes it tough to pick up a bunch of their beers when a bomber of Stone IPA or Enjoy By can be $5-$8 dollar range and bombers of Parish are $15.

Not very reasonable, IMO. Many world class IIPAs cost half that.

The only one that high is Grand Reserve I thought, which is worth it IMO.

Ok. I bough farmhouse and Dr H each for 9.99 and 10.99 at different times.

Even caught the Dr H at Bet-R under the over pass for 6.99 at one point. Which I ended up buying 4 bottles.

You know what would be awesome? If there was some industry standard to time stamp bottles. Get it together, craft beer industry.

Bbrou, are you going to be in LC at all this week? If you could mule some GITM in either bottle or growler form I think I could dig a few things out of the cellar to make it worth your while.

I am hopeful that I can swing by the brewery on Friday afternoon and snag a couple of bottles. Will be in route to Houston and will be making a large beer haul if any of you bastards want beers from H-Town.

That is good to hear My brother is the only one who has really had any carb issues with that one. I'm pretty sure the one that Bottomland got wasn't overcarbed. IMHO, it was much better when it was fresh and the Citra dry hop was busting out. It does have a good bit more brett funk to it now and some people really like that.

My buddy sells that equipment and just did a deal with Parish so soon.

I was under the impression the farnhouse popping up in NOLA was new.

Some of it may be, but I have seen old farmhouse on the shelves at multiple Rouse's and other grocery stores all year. They should have at least put "2014" on the label.
