I have been when we lived in Chicago and you are right, awesome place to watch a game.

No, I live in Lafayette, but go to New Orleans fairly often for work. I posted a few beer pics from and around the Doubletree on gravier/ canal during some recent stays. (I've stayed there 3 times in the last 3 months) . You were pretty damn close on the location.
