I love it for all occasions. Definitely my guilty pleasure "crappy" beer.

FBD. Wasn't really a fan of this beer, but a splash of fresh lemon makes it better.

Why are you frickin with a dude who has had both beers? You haven't, no? Seems he'd be more qualified to opine than you. Just sayin.

2BD was a Westbrook White Thai
LBD
I think it's just because many South LA people are skeptical. With Parish we were willing to believe they could brew an upper tier DIPA because we'd had their offerings and saw potential there. Great Raft came out of nowhere and suddenly is getting thrown around as being better than Pliny (admittedly shite ), Ghost, Abrasive, and everything.
Plus there's totally some regional bias to it. I personally hope the beer is as amazing as they say. I'm skeptical, sure, but I really want it to be.

2BD- Fresh Double Jack. A delicacy here, pisswater in Shreveport.

FBD is a Tadarida IPA at Freetail Brewery. At only 5.6%ABV, its one of those beers I could drink all day. When it first hits your mouth it tastes bland almost like a bud light but the hops hit you immediately after for a great taste.

I've only had 3 of their beers but I would pit them against any Louisiana brewery including Parsih. Already at worst 2nd best in the state. Really wanna try that ermagerd hops.
Eta: let's face it Shreveport has nothing to be proud about except no traffic. So let them have theirs

I've had a few of their beers and thought they were okay for style, but nothing special. Definitely wouldn't place them near the top of the pack based on what I've tried.
