What taste differences do you see by directly adding vs barrel aged?
Adding a pour of whiskey gives it a clean whiskey taste with added alcohol for enhanced buzz potential.

Is...is that an option?

NBD is a delicious BBA Stout with coffee and vanilla. Is it a good idea to drink a BBA Stout while making groceries? My wife thinks not because it takes me an hour to get out of the store. I tell her to enjoy the quiet time...

Dat is the goal. To be honest, depending on the stout/porter it just is a subtle bump. I love doing it though.
Sticking with US and no back images

Funny you should mention that one. I was choosing between the Baerlic and the New Holland. I went local...
I still haven't tried the BBA Dragon's Milk.

Its good, but the bourbon profile is really understated compared to most of the other bourbon barrel aged stouts, imo.

A splash of whiskey added to a good stout is really nice.

That Monstera is SNEAKY drinkable for 9%. Fermented out in like 3-4 days with that Hornindal Kveik at 90°+!!! Crazy juicy/jackfruit with all the mango pineapple stonefuit you want in a NEIPA. The booziness is CRAZY subdued for a Triple. All you Attacus fans NEED to try this!
I’m confused.

The Kroger by my house has $3 St Arnold pints every day & $2 St Arnold pints on Tuesdays. My cart looks very different after Tuesday drinking.

Cheers Turf. I am having another stout with a splash of rye. Yes Gary, yes.

I crushed several of each....
I'm finished unloading my firewood, now I'm playing Mario kart with my girls.
