I like both Heady and Pliny, just a bit different types of IPA in my opinion.
Having acces to both would be great, but just having Pliny isn't too bad either. ;)

It's tough for me but I think I'd rather Pliny slightly over Heady. But it's so close.

Got a text from a friend of mine that was going to do a trade with a guy and give 2 Plinys for 4 Headys. hew was asking if I thought he was ripping the guy off and I said mos def. Pliny:Heady should be 1:1 IMO.

I don't know how much a 4 pack of Heady goes for, but I'd bet that 2 Plinys for 4 Headys is pretty close $4$-wise

Free market is a funny thing, that way. How do you put a value on a beer? Cost? Perceived quality? Or just plain how badly do you want the beer?
If you have access to a beer A and can't get beer B where you live, you may be willing to pay above market for a beer.
A good part of the value I got from my trades this week is just sharing beer with folks who may not have tried some of the West Coast stuff.

I suppose $4$ it works out, but the beers are on par quality wise and 17oz vs. 16oz.

that's understood, and I would feel the same way. That's one thing I like about having homebrew to throw in, I can even things up a bit volume-wise while maintaining $4$ (this ignores the quality aspect though)

Back to OP, just back from my procurement. Matherne's Bluebonnet's five cases down to 4 bombers as of an hour ago. Tim had to run to their other store and that is when one customer bought 2 cases and the guy behind him bought one. I gave him a description of BMoney to see if the surveillance video could ID him. Looked to be about 3 cases left at Calandro's but the two guys I saw while I was back there talking to CJ each had 4 in hand. Talking with one of the guys who is buds with the Mockler craft beer guy (Jacob) and he was told he shouldn't wait more than a day or two if he wanted any. Just an FYI.

Cuban had ~3 cases at lunchtime. Snagged 3 bottles. They had a 4 bottle limit

Parish Grand Reserve isn't looking good, if this is how fast pumpkinator is going. They better start limiting them to 4 bottles/purchase or something like that.
