Likewise.

2BD is a founders blushing monk while listening to stories of child molestation. And I'm looking to make some moves on those girl scout cookies in a bit.

It's a new place by McMenamins in Beaverton, about 6 blocks from my house. McMenamins is a local chain of Brewpubs run by the McMenamin Brothers, who were instrumental in the Oregon craft beer revolution.

Most of the McMenamins locations are in historical buildings - churches, theatres, schools, hotels, etc, and they respect the buildings history when they renovate. They all sell McMenamins beer, whiskey, cider, and wine, as well as guest taps.

Having said that, some of their brewpub, like this one, are new buildings. This one features a very cool circular bar with wooden beams and a circular tap setup.

It also has a semi-circular copper top bar that surrounds a large fireplace, which has a tv over it to watch the Blazers.

NBD is a pour of McMenamins Billy Rye. For those that don't know, this whiskey is distilled at the McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. I know a few on this board have been there.
