I don't recall exactly what the taste was. Just different...

What did you think of that two-term IPA? I had it twice in the HAT and thought it was awful...

Really? Awful? I thought it was okay. It wasn't as good as Timber Beast, Hopszilla, or some of the Green Flash or Stone Big IPAs, but I didn't think it was terrible by any means.

I thought it was a malt bomb and not a good representation of what a DIPA should be. I'd give it a 60/100. Just my opinion.

Hour train ride and then a 30 minute bike ride to home. Tough to keep a buzz going. I Eneavoured and persevered. 6BD Full Sail IPA......started raining just as we rode into the driveway. The beers gods are always smiling on Good Beer Friday.

7--it think--BD: Good People IPA. Didn't do this beer any favors drinking it after the Surly Abrasive, but overall solid beer.

Sidenote...while I kinda dislike sharing all these beers with my wife, I guess its cool that she is expanding her taste in beer. I think I am safe when it comes to porters and stouts, but her love of Saison/Farm House Ales is leading her to enjoy even some sours. At the end of the day her sharing beers really means more opportunity to trade beer I guess so that is good.

I like my wife enjoying good beer. Pays off when I need her to pick up a limited release and can't get to that side of town.

Plus she gets tipsy quicker and it leads to sexy time.
