Nope, got 5 aged Backwoods deep in the beer fridge, not changing my take. Sometimes not so thick, syrup like, and less ABV can be good.

If you don't like backwoods bastard you won't like curmudgeons better half, because that's a more barrel-y maple-y boozy experience, which i freaking love. Both are those are superior to KBS for me

I didn't say I don't like BB, but at 14.9% that is deep winter drinker for me, much like the aged TenFidy barrel aged Stovepipes I have in the fridge. I was surprised how the bourbon became more forward deeper into that ale, yet was additive and not over powering. Great beer going into fall. To each his own.
